MARION, Ind. (Sept. 29, 2025) – This year, Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) celebrates 50 years of nursing graduates. Since 1975, the university has been raising up professionals equipped with both the physiological and spiritual expertise to provide quality care to those in need. This homecoming, IWU Nursing will celebrate this momentous milestone as part of the Homecoming 2025 festivities through a time of networking, fellowship, and dessert on October 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“For 50 years, our university has been sending talented, well-equipped professionals into the field,” said Rob Dawson, dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions. “There is no sign of that slowing down — additional growth is always just on the horizon. While we take the time to celebrate 50 successful years, we’ve already begun to set our sights on making the next 50 years even better!”
