Bachelor's in Environmental Science

Environmental Science is an exciting, cutting-edge field that explores how natural and man-made processes interact with one another. The Indiana Wesleyan University Environmental Science major is designed to integrate the Christian perspective with a rigorous background and training in this exciting field.

IWU’s Environmental Science program produces diverse graduates recognized by their call to uphold the dominion mandate of Genesis 1:26-28 in which God commands us to care for the earth and all of its inhabitants. This program offers students a richer understanding of the interactions between humans and the environment.

Program Requirements
  • Completion of 124 semester hours; however, some majors may result in the student earning greater than 124 credit hours by graduation.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Completion of the designated semester hours in the major area with a GPA of 2.25 or higher as required by the major. Additional requirements as prescribed by each department must also be met.
  • Completion of all general education requirements
