As of April 28th, 2026, the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) has confirmed the program's continued Accreditation status and the acceptance of a "teach-out" plan. The program was informed of CAPTEs decision on May 29, 2025.
While we are no longer enrolling new students in the DPT program, Indiana Wesleyan University is proud to continue offering an exceptional, Christ-centered doctoral education to our final cohorts of Doctor of Physical Therapy students.
This program equips learners with the tools to help others recover mobility and regain independence after injury or illness—all within a rigorous, three-year academic and clinical journey.
