Tuition FAQs

Start by applying to Wesley Seminary and completing the FAFSA, if applicable. Once you're admitted, our team will help you explore scholarships, financial aid, and payment options so you can understand your tuition costs before classes begin.
Students who plan to use federal financial aid should complete the FAFSA. Filing the FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal student loans and other need-based aid. Even if you're unsure whether you'll qualify, completing the FAFSA is a good first step.

Indiana Wesleyan University's FAFSA school code is 001822.

Enter this code on your FAFSA to ensure your financial aid information is sent to IWU for review.

An FSA ID is the username and password you use to access Federal Student Aid websites, complete the FAFSA, sign financial aid documents, and manage your federal student aid information.

Costs are divided into several payments spread over the course of the program with the first tuition payment being due before the enrollment deadline. A payment schedule will be provided upon start of program.

Payment varies based on the number of credit hours and fees. 

  • Tuition and fees are fixed based upon the charges in effect upon enrollment in the core program.
  • A $50 charge will be assessed for any payment not received by the due date.
  • A $15 charge will be assessed for each check returned for non-sufficient funds.
  • Initial deposit and payments may be made by e-check or telephone using VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.

The right to withdraw curricula and specific courses, alter course content, change the calendar, and impose or increase fees similarly is reserved.

Yes! Wesleyan Pastors receive $100 off each credit for Master’s level programs.

Additionally, Wesleyan Pastors serving under district appointment may be eligible to receive assistance through the Wesleyan Loan/Grant Program. Students must apply for this loan/grant. Wesleyan Pastors should also check with their district leadership to determine if ministerial scholarships are available.

Indiana Wesleyan University has partnered with Flywire to streamline the tuition payment process for our international tuition payments.

The mission of Flywire is to save international students and their families money that would otherwise be lost on bank fees and unfavorable foreign exchange rates. With Flywire, students are offered excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing payment in their native currency (in most cases), often saving a significant amount of money when compared to traditional banking systems.

Additionally, Flywire provides a student dashboard where payment logs and preferences for communication can be accessed in order to actively manage your payment process.
