Tier 2 Collegiate Purple Star Designation

Proud to Be a Purple Star School

IWU has been recognized for supporting military-connected students from enrollment through graduation.

In July 2025, Indiana Wesleyan University was designated as a Tier 2 of the Collegiate Purple Star (CPSI) Award from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.

Our institution has effectively demonstrated a supportive environment for the United States military-affiliated student population, encompassing the entire journey from application through to graduation. A CPSI designation signifies an institution-wide focus on translating the value of military learning toward higher education and ensuring the appropriate practices are in place for a military-affiliated student's success. The designation is valid for three years.
