Faculty Profile
Mica Fensler is a nursing educator and healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, academic instruction, and care coordination. She currently serves as pre-licensure nursing faculty at Indiana Wesleyan University, where she supports students through the application of clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning, curriculum development, advising, and transcultural learning rooted in Christ-centered values and a commitment to inclusion.
Her clinical background includes roles in case management, ambulatory care, inpatient care, and home health, with a focus on patient-centered models and interdisciplinary collaboration. Mica has worked across pediatric, pediatric ICU, and wellness settings, always striving to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, a BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an ASN from Purdue–IPFW. Mica approaches her work with gratitude and a deep desire to serve, learn, and help others thrive.
