Indiana Wesleyan University’s Merrillville Education Center is the primary location for our International Student Programs (ISP) students. The Merrillville Center is located just outside Chicago and connected to the vibrant Northwest Indiana region. Here, students benefit from a supportive environment and modern learning spaces.

IWU's Merrillville Ed Center is centrally located near the intersection of I-65 and Hwy 30. We are just 40 miles south of Chicago and 11 miles from the Illinois-Indiana border. Surrounding cities within close proximity to our Merrillville campus include Crown Point, Schererville, Michigan City, Hammond, Munster, Hobart, Valparaiso, Homewood and Orland Park.

IWU's Merrillville Education and Conference Center is centrally located at Exit 253 off I-65 (Merrillville/Valparaiso exit). The Center is approximately 45-60 minutes from downtown Chicago, depending on traffic.

This 27,000-square-foot facility also serves as a comfortable conference center for area businesses and organizations that want to reserve a facility for meeting rooms in Merrillville, as well as Merrillville conference rooms, and spaces for training sessions and other activities.
All of the technology used in our state-of-the-art classrooms is available for your group's convenience, along with access to onsite vending.
