Scripture Hall is a suite-style residence hall housing 250 female Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Scripture suites are comprised of 2 or 3 spacious bedrooms (housing 4 or 6 students respectively), a common living room and a shared bathroom.
This suite-style living fosters deep relationships among close-knit groups of women. The beautiful Scripture Hall lobby provides a space for all the residents to regularly come together for hall-wide programming and events.
Scripture Hall is located at the center of IWU’s campus and is just a short hop from the Barnes Student Center or any classroom.
Scripture Hall is home to more than 250 upperclass women, creating a close-knit residential community where students deepen friendships, strengthen their faith, and grow alongside peers in a shared living environment. The hall's community-focused atmosphere encourages meaningful connections, personal development, and a strong sense of belonging throughout the college experience.
Residents enjoy suite-style living with four to six students per suite, featuring a combination of double and single bedrooms connected by a shared living space and private bathroom. This design offers the perfect balance of independence, comfort, and intentional community.

Vision for Scripture Hall:
“My prayer is that women in Scripture Hall would feel welcomed into a fun and loving community where they can be confident and vulnerable with each other as, together, they grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and into the amazing women that God made them to be.”
